  • The exhibition will comprise philatelic dealers and auction houses from all over the world.

  • The exhibition will have an extensive philatelic and social program.

  • The competitive classes will be judged by an international jury appointed by the Council of The Royal Philatelic Society London.

  • STOCKHOLMIA 2019 will be organised at "Waterfront Congress Centre", Nils Ericsons Plan 4. "Waterfront Congress Centre" is Sweden’s newest and most versatile venue for large-scale meetings and events. Located in the heart of Stockholm, across the water from the City Hall, the modern architecture is a spectacular addition to the city skyline. www.stockholmwaterfront.com

The accessibility between all levels in the building is extremely good, with stairs, escalators and elevators. This makes the movability between levels very convenient and comfortable for all visitors and stakeholders. A more comprehensive presentation of the venue is available in the attached folder.

Royal Philatelic Society London

The Royal Philatelic Society London, established in 1869 as The Philatelic Society, London, is the oldest philatelic society in the world. In 2019, The Society celebrates its 150th Anniversary. As part of this special occasion, the Society will be joining its members and friends from around the world at the 'STOCKHOLMIA 2019' international philatelic exhibition in Stockholm, Sweden from 29 May to 2 June.

The Royal Philatelic Society London became 'Royal' when His Majesty King Edward VII granted the privilege in 1906, ten years after his son, HRH The Duke of York, became President of the Society. As Prince of Wales, he became King George V in 1910 and continued to act as our Patron, then in 1924 he granted the Society permission to use the Royal Arms on its stationery and publications. This patronage has been continued to the present day by Her Majesty The Queen.
