Quick facts

• The Royal Philatelic Society London (RPSL) will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2019. The exhibition will be a further milestone in the internationalisation of the society. The only official international exhibition, whether competitive or non-competitive, will be that held in Stockholm as part of the sesquicentennial anniversary of the RPSL as STOCKHOLMIA 2019 – THE INTERNATIONAL CELEBRATION OF THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ROYAL PHILATELIC SOCIETY LONDON.

  
  

  

  
  

• H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden has graciously agreed to be the Patron of STOCKHOLMIA 2019 when it takes place in Stockholm from 29 May to 2 June 2019.

  
  

  

  
  

• The exhibition will comprise philatelic dealers and auction houses from all over the world.

• The exhibition will have an extensive philatelic and social program.

• The competitive classes will be judged by an international jury appointed by the Council of The Royal Philatelic Society London.

• STOCKHOLMIA 2019 will be organised at "Waterfront Congress Centre", Nils Ericsons Plan 4. "Waterfront Congress Centre" is Sweden’s newest and most versatile venue for large-scale meetings and events. Located in the heart of Stockholm, across the water from the City Hall, the modern architecture is a spectacular addition to the city skyline. www.stockholmwaterfront.com

  The accessibility between all levels in the building is extremely good, with stairs, escalators and elevators. This makes the movability between levels very convenient and comfortable for all visitors and stakeholders. • Participation is open to all Fellows and Members of the RPSL. If you not yet is a member of the RPSL, information about membership is to be found on the Society’s website http://www.rpsl.org.uk/membership.asp

• The exhibition will comprise non-competitive (display) and competitive classes.

• There will be approximately 2,000 frames (faces).
